"This was our first time in Paris and it was a treat to stay at Jacques’ apartment! The location is perfect - so close to the Metro and great cafes/restaurants. It was also a bonus to have the Monoprix just down the block. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We couldn’t figure out how to work the TV but the wifi worked great (although the signal was a bit weak in the bedrooms). It would have been nice to have a few more towels since we were there for 1 week but otherwise...

"Wonderful apartment! We had everything we needed and very comfortable. The location is amazing, close to all transports, selection of dining options, a delicious Boulangerie and supermarkets- all within walking distance. Communication with the owners was prompt and very helpful. We highly recommend this apartment!"

The stairs once you walk in front door are small and narrow, doesn’t take away from apartment at all just something to be cautious of for those that have trouble up and down. "We thoroughly enjoyed Victoria’s apartment. It was clean, cozy and had all the amenities you could want. Short walk to the Tulerries and the Louvre plus transit stations - subway and bus. There are several restaurants right on her street and a small market across the street. With that proximity, people are out at night so bring earplugs. We slept great - the bed was really comfortable. Nice bathroom with a modern shower."

"Check in and out was easy. Our apartment was a 2-3 minute walk to metro, grocery, restaurants. Bakery was across the street. Host was very helpful with allowing us to check in early. Beds were comfortable and bedroom was large. Host helped us with getting cab for 4 a.m. pickup. Neighborhood was fairly quiet considering it is in the city."

"This little apartment perfectly suited my needs, considering that I was by myself. It could be a bit tight for a couple, but certainly doable. It was clean and neat, as described, and had all the appliances I needed. There were some supplies (laundry detergent, toilet paper) that I needed and after I called Paul, he was there in 15 minutes. He's very responsive and accommodating. The loft bed requires using the ladder, which was no issue for me, but might pose a problem for an older person...

"As others have written, the apartment is as good or better than the photos. It was comfortable for two couples and had space for more. The location is excellent, both for the Marais, and for enjoyable walking over to the Left Bank. It’s thoughtfully decorated too. All in all, a great place. "
