"Loved the town of Amboise and how convenient Jacky’s apartment was to everything. Two couples shared the well equipped place with plenty of room to stretch out. Appreciated having comfy beds and bathrooms with enough towels. A few stairs to get to up to the apartment but results in a good view of the river. Being at the hub to the bridge is convenient. Luckily traffic noise wasn’t a concern. Our friends in the front bedroom would have liked opaque or blackout shades to block morning light but...

"This is a lovely apartment, run by Johanna who is a very lovely host, with a lovely family. We stay 2 weeks of a heat wave, and enjoyed mixing the garden and swimming pool for several days. If it were cooler, then the indoor swimming pool is also perfect, together with hot tub. The property sits in beautiful wine country, a short journey from the River Cher where bicycles and kayaks can be hired. Situated across the river from town, a step outside the studio offers stunning views--especially at night.
