"We loved our stay in this quiet little home. Its large windows help you feel like you are in the pines next to the lake without leaving the comfort of the inside. We came in December and we didn't play outside much but it looks heavenly! Fire pit and access to the little lake is right there. This listing says it can stay 7 people however I think 4 is more reasonable. There is a blow up mattress that you can air up in the master and a hide a bed in the ottoman (but it was very dusty and unclean). My boys slept two on the queen and 3 on the floor. Also the heating is a little weird you need to keep all the room doors open if you don't like it cold while you sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with tools (it took us a bit to find the fridge as it's in the drawers). We enjoyed soaking in the tub and having the laundry/dryer was a lifesaver after camping. Overall we really enjoyed this home. "

"Always enjoy staying at this motel, the rooms are dated, but always clean. In a nice location local to Mount Shasta Brewing company, a local brewery that has some of the best beers you’ve ever had!"

"My business partner and I needed a get away to reflect on our first full year in business and prep for 2025. This place was perfect for what we desired: quiet, animals around, hot tub and ease for grilling on a provided camping propane grill in the back area. Just be sure to plan meals for small grill or reheat in a microwave as there’s not a full kitchen, if you’re not wanting to go to MtShasta to eat. It was also close to places for day hikes near the stunning MtShasta. I would go back and stay here in a heart beat! "

"1.There is a discrepancy with the checkin time shown on Hotels.com as being 1pm. We arrived shortly before 1 pm, but was told they we’re still cleaning rooms and would not be open for checkin until about 3 pm. 2. Coffee pot provided, but but no coffee or cups for coffee( luckily we brought our own Keurig). 3. Light on one side of the bed and desk did not work (was not the bulbs, we checked). 5. The door going out to the back of the facility was always open/unlocked. Not sure if it even locked when closed. That is a security issue! "
