"Overall clean, welcoming, cosy and well appointed. We liked the decking area with gate, useful for sitting out and for the dog to sit outside safely. We couldn't work the oven so instructions in kitchen would have been good. Otherwise we were very happy with everything."

"Caravan was very clean and well equipped. Decor a little tired looking but didn’t spoil my stay. Decking had table and chairs. Host was very informative. Didn’t use the on site facilities as my stay was just 2 nights. Ideal location for families. "

"Very poor weather, which can't be helped, however having no TV or internet or swimming pool for two days was a problem. Trying to turn on the TV we found we had to use our own roaming service with very poor reception and excessive costs, when the owners were asked I was told they couldn't access the internet, however reception said there was no problem with reception they just didn't wish to pay site charges."

"Comfortable and clean and equipped adequately. As there was just the two of us and our dog, we had plenty of room. The caravan could do with a few tweaks: possible blockage in en suite shower, fresh batteries needed for remote, light switch loose as you enter and toiler roll holder in en suite needs refixing. All minor things you may not be aware of!"

"The lodge was clean , warm and spacious for 2. On-site facilities were good. Overall we are enjoyed our stay. First time in a lodge. Will look at other sites nearer coast for a future stay."

"Great location very easy, a quick walk to the beach, and has a nice cafe for breakfast, good food & reasonable price. Park has a supermarket the only downside was no internet or decent phone coverage and we were asked for £7 each to use the park bar it was not a great bar so declined, some nice bars other side of the park on the beach and village, also great pizza take away in village "

"We enjoyed the location, but unfortunately the rooms where smaller than other caravans I have had holidays in. It was difficult to move around in the bedrooms. Some fixtures where not fixed properly and some of the blinds where dirty when we rolled them down.The Kitchen / living room areas where clean and had everything you needed for your stay. "We booked this caravan for a 2 night stay for 7 people. Check in was very simple, with the key available in a key safe and we loved the view of the pond from the balcony. The twin bedrooms were very small and the beds very close together so really only suitable for children, which we didn't realise when booking for adult occupancy. "I was in town visiting a friend for nearly two weeks, and this little pod was such a delightful place to stay! Situated in a very charming Japanese garden, it was plenty private, cozy and comfortable. It also seemed bigger inside than the pictures might make it look. The hosts Ian and Caz were so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They stocked a basket with all kinds of snacks and breakfast foods and even brought us some home baked cake and scones.
