"Lovely hotel, room was 10/10, good value. However quite thin walls, you could hear the chairs scraping on other floors (probably from the restaurant) which woke me up. Bathroom fan also ridiculously loud and annoying. Restaurant food was sub-par, slightly disappointing, the dishes did not match what was on the menu, definitely not worth the price. Staff were great and breakfast was lovely."

"Pleasant hotel in a quiet area with helpful staff. It's a very straightforward experience with not many amenities -- no hotel transportation, laundry service, refrigerators or microwave, for example. However, the staff were helpful with what the hotel did offer, and the breakfast was lovely. It's a quiet town that closes early, but they do have room service and a restaurant/lounge that offers some late night menu items. "Stayed at The Waterfront Lodges many times now. Room was warm and spacious. Clean and plenty of towels. Hot tub was wonderful on such a cold break. Staff helpful and welcoming on arrival and throughout the stay. Alison is brilliant. Breakfast a little disappointing and the morning food area could do with a clean over. Would still be happy to stay and recommend to anyone who likes to relax in a warm hot tub looking at the ducks. And if you want a big breakfast, the room has a fridge so just...
