"Villa Il Forte is the most incredible setting. It is an incredible historic and luxurious home while being comfortable, spacious and accommodating. Many different spaces to relax, connect and play. Paolo’s team were absolutely amazing. The chef Thomas is so talented while also being wonderfully personable and fun. The driver Fabrizio was so generous and thoughtful. His guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I have already booked it for next year! I can’t wait to go back! "

"The check in process was long winded. We felt rushed to be there to meet the cleaner at a specific time but had been delayed in Rome getting the hire car and had had a 3.5 hour drive. A key safe would have been good. There were 3 security gates to get through though which I wasn’t aware of. Although we felt safe it was tedious. The villa is huge and generally comfortable. "Absolutely gorgeous and pristine lodging tucked away in the hills just 30 minutes north of Florence. Our family stayed here for a week during our wedding and they didn’t want to leave. The residence is in a secure gated entrance, the property is modern, clean and spacious, and the outside - beautiful pool, open yard, and patio for late night conversation with wine. Owner and manager were friendly and had great communication which made the overall stay even better than five stars!"
