"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

"A relaxing place to stay! The grounds were beautiful and staff was great. I would say that having a car is important if you plan on using this as your home base to explore Tuscany. "We enjoyed a one night stay here. The room was comfortable for my family of 5. We enjoyed the onsite swimming pool. One reason why we stayed here was to be close to Florence. We were rewarded with a straight shot right into the east side of the city in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday night. We lucked out and found parking just outside the city center.
