"Staff was wonderful and friendly. The hotel was under renovation, but was still clean. However, it had a creepy vibe to it. Even though the hotel was built in 2000, it looked much older and almost reminded us of the hotel in "The Shining." My husband and oldest son were convinced the place was haunted. Also, bathtubs didn't have any anti-slip protection, so my daughter slipped in the shower and hurt her hip and back on the side of the tub."

"The location was very unique because it was overlooking the beautiful Ottawa river location-wise. It is an easy walk to the Alexandria Bridge or the Museum of History. There is also a very good bagel store nearby, and feels almost as an offshore city hotel. This hotel is perfect if you want to explore around and see the wonderful Ottawa river."
