"The house was as described and Dauphin Island is unadorned and basic. Bring what you need and plan to just relax. No flashing lights but the people are very nice. No night life but a casual and restful place to spend a few days. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable."

"We loved our stay in the Dreamcatcher on Dauphin Island. It was the most relaxing vacation that we have been on in a long time. We had a great time watching dolphins and the seabirds from the back deck and the dock. You could see the water from every room in the house (except the bathrooms haha). "We had a large family group. 19 people ages 1-50. There was something for everyone. The kids loved the pool. You can see the beach/ ocean from the top deck and you're so close you can hear the waves crashing. The beach was a short 5 min walk from the house, same for the Lagoon on the opposite side. All the restaurants and activities are a short 5/10 min drive. The house was clean and had enough towels and beds for everyone. The house is set up like a duplex but we had a large enough group...

"A beautiful home. Loved that each bedroom had own bathroom. Powder room on main floor and outside on deck is so convenient. Great kitchen. My husband and I highly recommend. We had eight people in our party, ages 60 to 75. Elevator is definitely a plus. Would be great for family. The deck and pool is wonderful but needs some shade. Loved that it's one house, not split like some."
