"This penthouse is a great spot. It's location is just perfect, right outside the crowd of the town and yet still very close to everything we needed. The place is comfortable, clean and spacious.The property manager was very reaponsive, to the few concerns/issues we had. She was on top of everything. Like all houses, things sometimes go wrong, we had the heater in one of the bathrooms wasn't working, she right away sent the electrician and tried all she could to get it fixed. And since it was...

"This apartment and property are well cared for, secure and a short walk down a road to the beach. The apartment has gorgeous views in the main area and primary bed room. There is a river crossing from this section of the beach as well as it is a little far from the main section of town which is great if you want a quieter place to stay but does require a vehicle or quite a walk to get to the restaurants and shopping."

"The four of us- 2 adults and 2 kids- had a wonderful time! The condo was clean, cool and had a great kitchen. It was a short walk to the beach. We rented beech chairs, surf and boogie boards and a bike. The kids had a great time in the water. The turtle tour was amazing. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Wonderful condo. Beautiful and relaxing place. Diego was very nice. Pool and surrounding area meticulously maintained. Proximity to the Azul Beach Club Restaurant provide us with some of the best dinners we have had in Costa Rica! Beach was pure Costa Rican Pacific with easy access, an excellent walking experience. Condo was equipped with everything we needed. Travel was challenging due the conditions of the roads. This is not for anyone interested in an active nightlife!"

"Central pool and rancho is the focal spot of the facility. Other guests/owners all very friendly. Moderate walk to beach. Unit is a little dated but all is adequate. A/C and WIFI worked well. Only small issue was the fridge is not balanced which caused a big wobble and difficulty opening"

Bailey is a great host—super responsive and attentive, making sure everything was just right. If you're visiting Samara or Puerto Carrillo, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommend!"

"This place was perfect, centrally located and had everything you need for vacation. We were concerned about the corner location on the busy road as mentioned in other reviews but it was absolutely fine. A little noise here and there but never woke us up or was a bother, rather it added to our experience of a bustling foreign getaway. We used a fan that drowned out 99% of the noise. "Everyone in my family loved staying here. We stayed in a several VRBOs throughout Costa Rica over 3 weeks and this was by far our favorite. Everything is new, clean and managed so well. The hosts are great guys as well and were a big help during our stay. Highly recommend 10/10!"

"We so enjoyed our stay in the Dalia suite the view is incredible! And because the suite is on the top floor we were able to watch the monkeys up close!! Patrick is a wonderful host."

"I’ve stayed here before and I will be back in the future. The condos are beautiful and very large and the neighborhood is so peaceful. I love to walk around the area and see monkeys in the trees. My mini economy rental car had no trouble getting there in the heavy rain, which is rare in Costa Rica. Thanks for the great stay!"

"We loved this condo for the following reasons:1. Location: Wake up with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and then walk six minutes to the beach;2. "This is the perfect place for a family vacation. The condo was clean, although there was a bit of a smell from being closed up for a bit, but that faded over the week. We did have a few crab and spider friends surprise us in the shower a few mornings, but that's to be expected! The location is close enough to town- you can walk to Olga's and La Luna in ten minutes by walking along the beach, and it is quiet enough to hear the monkeys and birds in the trees in the morning. "Very secluded (what we wanted), great views, remote natural setting. Very unique set up to property. 3 buildings on various levels of the hillside. "Residencias Samara is an oasis within the oasis of Samara. From the friendly staff to the comfortable rooms, Residencias Samara was the perfect homebase for the Samara leg of our honeymoon. We found it to be wonderfully relaxing and well situated within town and close to the beach. We spent a significant portion of our time enjoying the pool when not at the beach or the great restaurants nearby. We would definitely pick Residencias Samara again on a return trip in the future. "Excellent place! We were absolutely delighted to find this safe, well-appointed, beautifully-decorated room after a long days’ drive. Self check-in, after hours, was easy, and we found the lovely grounds and pool to be an oasis. We made our own simple dinner and had everything we needed to prepare it. Absolutely loved our stay here, and wish it were longer! We’ll be back! 💖"

"Everything was top notch from check in to check out. Brand new property with Zen design and quiet. Bed and shower super comfortable with strong yet quiet AC. Kitchen is the best in Nosara thanks to a top chef. Service across the board from landscaping to serving to management are committed professionals. So rare, so nice. It's up in the hills away from noise but within easy reach to the beach thanks to the shuttle. "

"We loved our stay here and felt the other reviews we read prior to arriving were pretty accurate! The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was exceptional and the service, while at times longer, was also high-quality. This resort doesn’t necessarily stay open very late and is for someone looking for a more laidback atmosphere. The food and cocktails were without question the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive. We were well-pleased and enjoyed every meal. The nearby town, Samara, is also a quick cab ride or a 30-40 minute walk by beach for a change of scenery. Overall, we loved our stay here, will recommend it to those we know, and hope to return someday!"
