"A lovely place to stay, quiet and beautiful location, the house offering everything we needed for our stay including a fully equipped kitchen and necessary supplies. The highlight going down to the shore to collect oysters each evening. Nothing like fresh Bruny Island oysters with a magnificent view."

"The location of the house is excellent as you can easily do day trips to the north and south of the Island and to Adventure Bay. It is a few minutes walk to Hotel Bruny which has fantastic meals. The house has a wonderful view looking back to the mainland and of Satellite Island with a deck at the front and back of the house which is perfect to avoid the wind depending on the direction. Both decks have outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings very comfortable....

"We arrived 40 minutes early and as we had purchased oysters asked the cleaners if we could put them in the frig.All OK. Fprtuneately the cleaners left their keys and i found that only one bathroom was accessible and caught them before they left. When i queried the one bathroom i was told that as there was only 2 of us we only needed one bathroom!..owners instructions. "Loved the light from the windows, during the day you were able to see the garden and be apart of the garden. No Flyscreens seems to be a very Tassy thing, (and a leaky toilet, that I am sure someone will fix), but the floor boards, colours and beds were beautiful. "There were a couple of maitenance issues which we had to work around. The kitchenette is quite basic for the cost of a stay. No stove or oven. Location is good, however you have to carry everything up quite a few steep stairs."
