"Booked a few nights at Meldrum House while visiting family. Enjoyed my room which was very large. The shower was great! Had a bit of an issue in the restaurant the night we dined in but the reception staff was kind and helpful, adjusting our final bill to reflect the inconvenience which I appreciated. Would definitely return!"

"The waterside is great, it is very dated but the price reflects that. There’s nothing else around this part of Scotland that gives you this level of value for money. I wouldn’t go there expecting the world but it’s clean, has a nice restreraunt, a so with sauna, jacuzzi, pool and steam room and the staff are very attentive. I love the place and will be going back next weekend."

"Was an incredible stay. We were the only guests as it was the off season and we felt so looked after. There was a lovely man working the mornings (didn’t catch his name but he was absolutely beautiful) who did everything he could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! "Amazing! Marketing does not do it justice … heated bathroom floors , separate living room with a double pull out , a full kitchen , fresh milk , teas coffee there for you. Clean , we travelled through Scotland and Ireland this trip and this was by far our best stay! No dinner available only break or and lunch but amazing food and ice cream. Drive ten mins for dinner or bring groceries. "

"We had an amazing sunny week in Gardenstown. Sunnyside House has a fabulous view over the village and out to sea. The sunsets are stunning! The house itself is clean, well decorated and and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The locals I met on my daily morning stroll around the village and along the beach were lovely and friendly. We loved Portsoy and Cullen and had some lovely beach and cliff top walks."
