"Rating should be 3.5 stars. 4 adult middle aged males stayed at this Ferndale apartment. We spent the weekend at the Detroit curling club and only slept here. So It meant our needs. When we arrived there was no power to the back bedrooms and 4 or 5 space heaters were spread around the apartment. So clearly a regular furnace was not working. After 10 mins of exploring. We figured out the back bedroom space heater was tripping out power to bedrooms. That was annoying. I view a vrbo rental...

"This place was terrible. Should never have been listed. Ceilings dirty, previously wet and sagging. Carpet ripped and FILTHY. Horrible patchwork pink paint covering dirt and graffiti in the hallway. Host never responded with entry information. It was all bad. Vrbo did set me up in a hotel for 3 of my 5 nights then I had to find lodging for the rest of my stay Awaiting my refund for that."

"Newly renovated was the only positive. Wasn’t upfront about the plugged toilet and tried to mask the smell by locking the door and putting bleach in the bottom of the dishwasher and Lysol. Was promised 2 bathrooms and 4 adults from different families had to use one. A charge of garbage disposal for $50 We were from a different country - where is the garbage going to go. Back to Canada 🇨🇦"

"This is a nicely furnished 1 bedroom 1 and 1/2 half bath condo with walking access to the downtown shops and restaurants. Plenty of extra linens and a nice washer/dryer. Kitchen is spacious with lots of seating. Very convenient and comfortable place to stay. We would definitely stay again."

"Very clean and homey space. The beds were very comfortable and my adult sons were pleasantly surprised by the tv in the second bedroom. Washer and dryer were easy to use and very helpful since we were in state parks, visiting family, and a beautiful wedding reception in the rain. I sat and had coffee on the balcany looking over the pond with a heron fishing away, a turtle on the move, and songbirds in the trees. Really enjoyed this home close to my Michigan family."
