"Very relaxed, family friendly "agriturismo" - Italian for "farmhouse". Clean, nice pool, including kids pool for the little ones. Family-run property, offering a good breakfast in the morning and a vwry affordable restaurant service every evening. Parking available and free to use for guests. It's quite close to the sea (20 minutes by car) and not too distant from Matera (40 minutes) and the abandoned village of Craco. We had a little problem for our two-year old daughter and the owners went out...

"The property is in a great location within walking distance to everything in the Sassi. The bed is very comfortable and how cool to shower in a cave! The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with some breakfast items. The host also had a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this rental. "

"Pietro was extremely helpful, kind and informative. The house was immaculately clean and well appointed. All the essentials had been thought of, and lots more. "Matera was our first stop on our Italy Trip. This property is spacious, well located in the center with spectacular views across the old town. Parking is near by, we paid 25 euros for each 24 hours, so 50 euros total, which was easy walk with case and no steps, which was ideal for us. Restaurant right next door done a fantastic breakfast and lunch salad which was reasonably priced. There are lots of places to eat around Matera so eating out was not a problem. "View to Matera from the balcony was amazing. The property has no air conditioning and it was 40C/100F while we were there so it was warm. There were two fans and the lower bedroom was cool enough to sleep. Location was great for walking anywhere. Matera is beautiful and amazing, but I would avoid June through August in future."

"Es una casa encantadora nos ha sorprendido gratamente , tiene absolutamente de todo, no le falta nada! Si tengo que poner una pega es que no hay división entre los dos dormitorios, y en nuestro caso éramos todos adultos, algo muy ventajoso si viajas con niños pero que nos ha quitado intimidad."

"House was beautiful and clean but not very “homey” or comfy. There was outdoor seating (metal chairs) to fit our large family. But no indoor sitting space No couches or comfortable chairs to spend time together inside. No living room. Just a kitchen with table and metal bar type chairs. Kitchen very sparsely furnished a few old pans - not great to cool a meal. Listing said there was a hot tub and living room, grill , and washing machine. . But none there. There was a sports court....

"Hello, we are a family of 4 from South America. We stayed at the Piccolina Vacation Home and it was excellent. Very nice place with nice kitchen and bathroom. Nearby there is a little Piazza to get a coffee, pizza and to do laundry. Also, very friendly neighbors and a supermarket nearby. There is a bus stop just a couple minutes away that takes you straight to downtown to see the Sassi. Great place!"

"Wow this is a fantastic property. Everything is super clean and has been recently remodeled which was a plus. The location was so good! So many great restaurants and bars that were all walking distance. It’s right in the old town so the history surrounding the apartment was amazing. Check in was so smooth and the hosts were so kind. They answered all our questions quickly and were so accommodating to all our needs. I would love to stay again on our next visit. Highly recommend this place!"

"The property is nice, but not the service. The hotel promised to assist us with our luggage from the parking, but they didn't answer the phone for a long time. It was difficult to drag our havy bags by ourselves when we came with children. There was no apology, just "O we have three lines here."..Really? Parking owner knew about this hotel and knew they wouldn't answer, just empty promises. If you want to stay with people who care, you should go to another hotel."
