"I can’t say enough about the friendly and responsive staff. Stunning views and charming lobby/living room area with fireplace, bar and piano. Only minor criticism is that there was no small refrigerator in the room. Front desk and Mauricio at the bar were super-nice and responsive. New cook, who owned his own hotel for 3 decades in Alsace, was excellent! "

"I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Zermatt! The hotel was cheap and the staff even gave me a free upgrade on my room which was a nice surprise! The location is also amazing because it is right next to the train station and it’s only a 20 minute train ride to get to Zermatt. Trains ran frequently so I never had to wait long. I also felt like housekeeping went above and beyond every day tidying up the room. The only down side is there’s no microwave or fridge but everything else was perfect. I loved my stay!!"

"This was a lovely hotel in Kandersteg. This is located beside the gondola station and the walking path for the hike to lake. There was a nice restaurant at the hotel that we had a great dinner at and the breakfast was very enjoyable. My family really enjoyed staying here and we would come back again!"
