"The hotel was in good condition overall despite the old building. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, I was not allowed to carry a bottle of drinking water into the hotel even though the hotel does not provide drinking water in the room."

"The hotel in general is rated 8.5/10 , some improvements needed in rooms accessories, towels/water taps etc. The best to be highlighted is the bar area and the staff working there. They were professional with smile welcoming during my stay in the hotel.. "

"The positives: very kind and friendly staff, well maintained gardens, clean bedrooms and tidy environment. Pleasant and well maintained path to the private beach. Good VFM. The negatives: in October none of the bar area is open after 6pm, no food available other than going into the main Carthage Thalasso hotel. "The issue is the bad communication with expedia which they don’t resolve the problem professionally and they are not telling the truth about offer in the hotel until we arrived and have been informed by the hotel management. So I will never use expedia a gain and advice people to double check before they travel."

Nice hotel with excellent and friendly staff

"This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is so friendly and helpful!! This time I discovered a lovely roof terrace. My only complaint is that the hotel is on a busy road and there was some noise. But it is a very convenient location, so it’s a balance. "

"The hotel was beautiful in an old school glamour way, I could imagine this hotel being an embassy in a previous era. Warm marble, domed ceilings, chandeliers, fountains - even the walkways smelt perfumed. The room was spacious, luxurious (fresh flowers in the room) and the small balcony overlooked the pool. The staff were very attentive and kind enough to provide us with extra amenities we required. The only small downside was that it is located quite far from any outside restaurants or sites that need to be travelled to by taxi, but it was worth the trade off to have a private beach behind the hotel. "
