"Friendly staff, let us check in early, park right outside room, laundry nearby with free detergent, large clean room with fully stocked kitchen. We ate dinner one night at the Hermitage Hotel and preferred this hotel and were glad we didnt pick Hermitage to stay at because this motel felt quieter and more easily accessible. It was the best choice in Mt Cook for us. The only improvement would be that it's a row of motel rooms and some, like ours, had some of the mountain views blocked by other motel rooms. It seemed one row of rooms had unobstructed views of Mt Cook mountains, so I'm not sure how to request one of those rooms, but it would have been an even better stay than our already pretty great stay if i had booked one of those rooms. Highly recommend this motel."

"Excellent facilities and shared kitchen and lounge. Free coffee machine Coffee and free popcorn. The God was very comfortable in our ensuite room. Shower pressure, and good to have two bottles of complementary water in our room. Very friendly staff and so nice to receive complimentary warm scone with jam and butter on arrival"

"Excellent accomodations for a one night stay at Lake Tekapo. We were very pleased with ample hot water, safe environment, beautiful view, dishes for the kitchen, squeaky clean cabin, and comfortable beds. The bathroom sink is oh so tiny with no counter space but the kitchen sink and counters served us well for extra face washing. Highly recommend this facility. "

"Excellent place to stay in Aoraki Mt Cook Nat'l Park with beautiful views and plenty of amenities. We appreciated the on site laundry, lounge areas, and the sauna! Dining options are limited in the park (~3 restaurants). Even though they're all good, you may want to plan ahead and bring groceries to take advantage of the communal kitchen area at the hostel. Helpful and friendly staff keep everything clean and tidy. We loved our experience here!"
