We loved driving around Sardinia, you definitely need to hire a car to get anywhere, nothing is in quick walking distance but the location is great being next to Palau so we also were able...

"We had a wonderful time in Sardinia. The weather was perfect (sunny and hot), the island incredible beautiful (best beaches ever) and the house in an absolutely privileged location (a bit hard to find), had a breathtaking view, nice swimming pool and well taken care gardens. Modern, elegant and simple decoration with all that we needed to enjoy our stay (except for air conditioning in the basement room, but plenty of fans.....). The owner provided all sort of information for shops, restaurants...

"Ein unfreundlicher einheimischer etwas älterer Bewohner lebt dort in der Anlage der sehr unfreundlich ist. Auf Ruhe in dieser Anlage wird streng geachtet. Mit Kinder etwas unvorteilhaft. Waschmaschine funktioniert nicht richtig. Der Hausmeister dieser Wohnung ist sehr hilfsbereit und hilft bei jeder Frage sofort ! Die Möbel sind leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es war alles sehr sauber."

"We stayed at Porto Istana for 10 days and it was an outstanding experience. The home is well appointed with everything you will need for your stay. The pool area, BBQ and outside living space is absolutely perfect…not to mention the VIEWS! It is possible to walk to the beach - a bit of a distance but we did it many days. There is a great bar called Geko that serves cocktails and great pizza / lunch. You will not go wrong choosing this home!"
