"Spent 12 nights here whilst visiting family in the area. We agree with other guests that the Alexander Mansion House offers an “experience” in an historic building. We had the Alexander Durante room which was beautiful. Every night we would have a “night cap” and the room would be waiting for us with lamps turned on and the radio on. "We stayed one night. Apart from a small mishap with the VRBO listing not linking to the hosts’ schedule, which resulted in us having a different room, our stay was perfect. Gracious, responsive, and friendly hosts, adorable baby goats, peaceful country setting, great recommendations re: where to eat and places to hike, delicious breakfast, friendly fellow guests, and comfy bed. No cell reception but that was not a concern for us as we were looking to unplug."
