Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A 2100 sq. ft. split level home, located in The Galena Territory, on a secluded acre, surrounded by Wildlife Preserves. Weekend away

Wonderful place for of husband and I to meet with his 2 brothers and their wives. Explored Galena a bit, but spent most of our time visiting at the house.

Wonderful place to stay!

Highly recommend! Very clean, welcoming and beautiful location. Owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. Great fenced in yard and nice firepit, along with a screened in porch.

Great Getaway

This was a great property for our annual friends getaway! We enjoyed hiking, swimming, playing table tennis and exploring the outdoors. The house was awesome for what we were using it for! Would stay again!

A Perfect Getaway in Galena, IL

We had a wonderful time in Galena. The house was clean and inviting, with comfy beds and a spacious couch that fit the whole family. Our dogs loved the fenced yard, and the hosts were attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Mom and Sisters Vacation

My 2 sisters and my Mom stayed for the week. We visited antique shops in the area, shopped in Gelena. Enjoyed cooking and relaxing at this beautiful home. Beds were very comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and pans.

We had a great time staying at this property with our kids and grandkids. It worked perfectly for every family to have their own floor with a bedroom & a bathroom. Loved the fenced backyard which was surrounded by trees. We made S’mores at the fire pit. Owner was quick to reply on any questions we had.

Exactly what we were looking for

The house was located right in the middle of all the golf courses and a short drive to the Eagle Ridge Resort where our conference was being held. The house was perfect for 3 adult males, where we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Great stay!

Wonderful short stay

Everything about the place was perfect. There was a slight hiccup with getting in initially but the property handled everything very quickly. The place was very clean and decorated with cute winter decor. There was even a hot chocolate bar with cocoa and cookies provided. We had a great time playing games in the basement and there were also board games provided. The loft has a cute little reading area that I didn't get to take advantage of but they even provide books for you. We made all of our meals and there was plenty of cookware to accommodate our needs. I am looking forward to staying here again in the future.
