When you step into this space you feel right at home. Pull up and enjoy free parking in front of the home or anywhere on Prospect St. Step inside the front door and into the foyer and enjoy this historic home. The main level features an updated eat in kitchen that is open to the large living room w/flat screen TV, gas fireplace and record player. There is also a half bathroom, laundry area and small back deck to enjoy. The large kitchen is spacious and has seating for 8. Enjoy your cup of coffee using our Keurig coffee machine. If you walk to the rear of the home you will find that back deck is a great place to sit and listen to the sounds of town. Please note as a guest there is no backyard access. When you head upstairs you will love the finishing touches of exposed brick and new carpet. There are 3 bedrooms on this level. The main bedroom features a Queen bedroom and comfortable space, the 2nd Queen bedroom is down the hall and also a great place to sit back and relax after a long day downtown Galena. The third sleeping area is quiet and cozy with a twin over twin split trundle bed. Great for the singles or the kiddos! The full bathroom for these rooms is at the end of the hall. The lofted area is up a slightly steep set of stairs, grab the railing and head up to a fun space for the agile ones in your group. The private space features two twin beds upstairs with space in the middle for an air mattress if you want to bring one. Great getaway spot for kids to have a slumber party or for the singles to stretch out in, extra AC up there for your comfort. Of course the most spectacular part of staying on Prospect St is the location, just a quick walk to downtown or around the neighborhood to take in the architecture and joy of Galena. Consider our Coach House across the street if your group is quiet but a little larger. It can sleep up to 8, 6 in beds. You will love The Townhouse on Prospect!
When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check-in. If you cancel prior to the 14 days you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14-day mark, your stay will become non-refundable, and dates cannot be adjusted. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file when booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts.
Our cancellation policy is NOT flexible. We highly recommend travel insurance. Travel insurance is offered at the time of booking and up until 15 days before check-in. The provider is CSA.
Please note: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking. We ask that you sign and file this within 48 hours of receiving it to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 years old when booking and present for the entire stay.
Check-in details are sent to the email on file three days before your arrival. This includes the home's address, the access code, and other pertinent home/area information. Early check-in is never guaranteed and cannot be considered until the night before or the morning of your arrival. The check-in details will cover this process.
