Comfortable with an amazing viee
Very clean, very comfortable, quiet little treehouse in the woods with an amazing view! Has the creature comforts of home, and just a few minutes drive of stunning views to downtown Galena. Would definitely return to this one!

Nice setting but bad smell
Unusual shaped property was a novelty but had an unpleasant musty smell that permeated the entire place and all of my belongings. It even clung to a drinking glass that I bought on the trip until I washed it at home! Nice to have 2 BR and 2 baths along with tons of windows in a beautiful natural setting, but with the funky smell, cheap construction, and stained rug, I would not recommend at this price.

Short Family Vacation
Great place to stay for short family vacation in the woods. House was perfect size and spaces for family of three adults for four nights. Home furnishings and interior style slightly dated but comfortable. The outdoor deck, the all around full windows of the house, and tje surrounding trees so close you can nearly touch them are the real strengths of the house. The availability of the indoor and outdoor pools were the other significant draws to this rental.

Excellent place to stay near Galena
We had a group of 4, the oldest was in her early 80s. Those in our group with knee problems struggled with the ramp to get to the cottage. The master bathroom was too small. It had a really interesting round tall tub and then a tiny shower. We all ended up using the other shower. It felt very secluded even though we were in a very nice community. The pools were clean and wonderful. Much less crowded during the week of course. It’s about a 20 minute ride into downtown Galena. It was clean, with everything that we needed. Would stay again!

Cute house and property very quiet however communication could have been much better. Never got an email stating where the keys would be to enter the house, the first email I sent asking about keys said that I could book the property (we were already booked) that made us nervous that we didn't have a reservation. In the end it worked out and we finally got ahold of the property owner and the rest of the stay was fine.

Adorably Cozy
This was our second time staying at this adorable house. Loved that they replaced the sidewalk leading to the house! It is much better than the old one. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely looking forward to coming back again.

Charming little tree house!
We appreciated being nestled in the trees, and waking up to fresh snow on the final morning of our stay was a bonus. It was quiet and peaceful (though the ticking of the clock on the wall in the living room was noticeably irritating). The living room furniture is quite well worn and a couple of other features could be updated, but overall, the place is nice and has a certain charm.

Simplistic Seclusion
Property is located in a secluded and quiet neighborhood which is great when you’re tired of the hustle and bustle of downtown Galena ! The house itself is fairly small and has lots of quirky details . The house itself was clean and the king size bed very comfortable.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Treehouse for an extended weekend and it was perfect. The location and the availability of the owners club made sure we had everything we needed and more. This trip exceeded my expectations. If you need a relaxing getaway and want privacy with the touch of beautiful nature, you have to go here!! Not too mention downtown Galena and Galena goat yoga if you are looking for something to do. Otherwise enjoy the views from this adorable place with the people you love. Perfect!

We like the place. We love that no one was close to us. And it was nestled amongst trees. The set up of rooms is odd. Appliances, furniture and bathroom are outdated. The stairs from the parking area need a hand railing, Currently, easy to fall.

Me and my sisters loved staying here. It was clean upon arrival. There is nothing fancy about this location, but it has everything you need. The location is so peaceful and quiet. You really feel like you are staying in a tree house in nature. It was raining when we arrived and I felt like I was staying in the middle of a tropical rainforest. Would definitely come back again!!
