"Adorable" cabin in the woods! This cabin has 2 bedrooms (both Queen) and 2 full baths. There are twin beds in the loft, so it is perfect getaway for 2 couples with children or a small family. It also has internet with a smart tv and YouTube channels, a fireplace and a deck with a gas grill. This unit is a short 1.8 miles to the Owners' Club where you will have access to the Indoor, Outdoor, and Kiddie Pools, Game Room, Fitness Center, Indoor/ Outdoor Basketball Courts, etc... Sleeps 6. Our family enjoyed their stay very much. The loft worked out great for our 2 boys. We enjoyed playing games on the back deck each night. The firepit was an added bonus!

House in the woods
Well designed big little house, plenty of room for everyone to find their own space but small enough to be close together. The view from the back deck is absolutely priceless and the amenities are great for a family with kids visiting Galena. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and would do it again!

Beautiful home and location!
This house was the perfect size for our family to stay at and explore the surrounding area. Its in a great location, ideal for walks and viewing wildlife, and close to the pool/clubhouse and downtown Galena. This unique home had everything we needed to relax, cook, and enjoy our vacation. We used the back porch almost every morning for breakfast/coffee. We are already looking forward to returning next year!

Relaxing Getaway
My friend and I were looking for a relaxing get away and this place did not disappoint. Even though there were other properties right next door it felt like we were miles away from anything. We enjoyed the pool which was a short drive away. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and the beds were very comfortable. We are already making plans to stay here next fall.

Cozy Treehouse in the woods
We had a lovely time in our cozy treehouse in the woods with our Spanish Greyhound. The fireplace was lovely. The furry blankets made it nice to snuggle by the fire 🔥 The kitchen was clean and the breakfast nook was perfect with the fall trees surrounding us. The master bedroom was so comfortable. There were only two of us, so we did not use the upstairs or downstairs, but the other rooms were so cute. Especially the twin beds in the loft. I highly recommend this place!

Reconnecting with an old friend

The Treehouse
This was our third time staying in what we affectionately call the Treehouse. Again, a wonderful time was had by all. We especially enjoyed using an app developed by Cornell's laboratory of Ornathology called Merlin. It identifies birds by their call or by sight. We got quit an impressive list from the bird songs.

Nice getaway spot
Overall, we really liked this property. It's cozy but with enough space to spread out when needed. Well-stocked kitchen, and beautifully decorated home. The location and views were great. The big deck on the back was a plus. Once we figured out the thermostats (nest in the loft controls the main space and the bedrooms have individual controls) we were comfy. The fireplace is a nice feature but you must bring in a Dura-log; real firewood is not allowed. One con: the beds were listed as queen but they are full-sized; a little too squeezy for us.

Second time around, looking forward to a third
We love this house. It's clean and welcoming. The only issue I had was the thermostat. There are MANY thermostats in the house. The first night we were freezing, we set the thermostats we could find at 72 degrees. None of them worked. The only one that worked was the one in the LOFT! No one was in the loft to see it till the following day. I'd suggest removing the thermostats that don't work or putting a sticker on them saying they aren't functional. OTHERWISE, phenomenal stay. Highly recommend!
