"We were welcomed by the very friendly landlords and shown around the house and the garden. The house is on the slope above San Siro. It was very well equipped, we didn't lack anything. Our only regret was that we spoke so little Italian. Thank you!"

What others have stated is true: If you want to experience Lake Como from an actual neighborhood, look no further. But the most wonderful thing about this property is the host, Giulia. We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. "Great house. Great space both indoors and outdoors. Great location. Each bedroom with its own bathroom. Perfect for family of 4 or 5. Lack of A/C tough when very hot. My suggestions would be some window covers (so easier to sleep in) and get some nicer outdoor furniture so guests can take better advantage of the 2 terraces which are quite lovely."

"This apartment is located in a residential area, however if you have a car, there is no problem going to Bergamo sightseeing or shopping malls. It is also within a 30 minute drive from the airport. The owner was very kind and flexible with check-in times. The room is clean and has everything. Highly recommended if you are staying with your family."

"This is a beautiful house and stay -- my only advice to be very exact about *which city and plaza* you meet the property manager at, as we had the wrong Santa Maria plaza entirely! Other than that, a truly magical building, waterfall, and stay."

"From the listing, it seemed we were in an home/apt with it's own private pool. What we found was it was a small apt with lots of stairs and a pool you share with a whole complex of apartments. Plus, the pool is not heated and too cold to use. And there wasn't a hot tub as listed. It would've been nice."
