"Beware of this listing! When we booked no where did it say that you must bring your own bedding and towels. We were supposedly informed if this in a message hidden in the VRBO app 5 days before our check in and long after we had flown half way around the world. When we arrived we were told we would have to send the property manager 100 Euros via PayPal and they would bring us bedding and towels but not until the next day leaving us to sleep on nothing the first night. "This property was ideal for us as an older couple. It is in a very quiet area just outside Boltenhagen itself. The house is compact and on one level (apart from a couple of steps). The kitchen is well-equipped. The bathroom is a little dated but perfectly functional. Plenty of towels supplied. The bed in the main bedroom is comfortable. Dagmar and Rainer spent some time talking us through various options for visits in an area which was new to us (eg Schloss Bothmer, Wismar, Rostock, Luebeck)....
