"The hotel foyer/reception was like a building site. Whilst I was informed beforehand that work was being undertaken, I didn’t expect it to be so major. The reception (when we found it) was a small office room in which staff were eating their meals. We were directed to chalet accommodation which quite frankly was shabby ( stained carpets and linen). "Workers have low English proficiency . There was a challenge when trying to communicate with some of the workers. Although the reception and all other things were generally ok.They must improve in this regard. Some workers are good but only the one that I communicated with when I left the place"

"When we arrived, we learned the hotel was overbooked but the manager helped us into one of their sister properties. The room was comfortable and breakfast delicious. Service was great aside from some young guy at the front desk with a horrible attitude (thank goodness for the great manager!)"

"Carpets in the room were filthy and the furniture and fittings were old and damaged (non-functional in some cases). WiFi did not work in room. Marketed on the app as a 4 star hotel, only a three star once you arrive, would not give it a two star rating if it were up to me. Staff are friendly and breakfast is pretty good, will avoid in future though."
