"Kichijoji is a great area. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station, Inokashira Park, shopping and numerous restaurants and bakery/cafes. On the ground floor of the hotel there are small shops and an eatery. I had requested an additional softer pillow and it was brought to my room right away. We would definitely stay again!"

Very quiet in morning with few places to eat until later in the morning. The exceptions are coffee shop at hotel opens at 7 a.m. and Brooklyn Roasting Company, with a nice breakfast, opens at 8 a.m. Hotel attracts foreign tourists."

"This was our second stay at this hotel in the last 2 years. It's an excellent hotel right next to a train station and many places to shop. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Kawagoe is less crowded than Tokyo, but less than an hour on the train and you're in the heart of Tokyo. Staff is very attentive and efficient. My only complaint, is that the mattresses are extremely firm. I solved that issue on the second visit by bringing an inflatable air mattress. Problem solved! I hope to visit again, in the future."
