"Located in a residential neighbor near vibrant area of coffee houses, small bars, restaurants and retail that attract 20s-30s year old Japanese. Very quiet in morning with few places to eat until later in the morning. The exceptions are coffee shop at hotel opens at 7 a.m. and Brooklyn Roasting Company, with a nice breakfast, opens at 8 a.m. Hotel attracts foreign tourists."

"Our 3rd stay for this trip. First start 7 nights single, 1 night double followed by trip to Lake Kawaguchi before returning for 4 nights double and super junior concert at Tachikawa. Convenient transport, free coffee and lovely staff."

"This was our second stay at this hotel in the last 2 years. It's an excellent hotel right next to a train station and many places to shop. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Kawagoe is less crowded than Tokyo, but less than an hour on the train and you're in the heart of Tokyo. Staff is very attentive and efficient. My only complaint, is that the mattresses are extremely firm. I solved that issue on the second visit by bringing an inflatable air mattress. Problem solved! I hope to visit again, in the future."

"Small hotel with everything that you need. Stayed April 3-5 with my 3 sisters. The bunk beds were comfy, clean sheets and towels. I love that they provide you with robes, slippers, in addition to all toiletries and you have a small fridge, coffee pot, microwave, etc. there’s a mini mart a few steps outside. The breakfast, although it’s just tea/coffee and bread with soup of the day, it’s sufficient to get you started. The staff though very little English are super nice and helpful. Everything was clean and proper. I would stay again."

"Alway kind, helpful and accommodating each and every stay. More control for heating during winter would be nice. Rooms tend to be a bit to warm but floor fans are available. "
