"La Conchiglia has been family run for decades and it shows. From the moment we walked up we were greeted warmly and the family did everything they could to ensure we had a lovely stay (e.g. helped us with the bus system, talked to us about travel ideas, etc.). It truly felt like they wanted to enjoy their hotel rather than it being a transaction. "This property is right on the beach and has easy access to a small port to take water taxis and boat excursions around the Amalfi area. There are a couple of good restaurants very close and a couple more within a short walk. The complimentary breakfast was a very nice spread with many options. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Anna the receptionist is super friendly. We had booked 3 nights. The view is spectacular but breakfast is lousy. The beds are very uncomfortable and we didn't sleep well for 2 nights. My husband has a bad back problem so we asked Anna if she could refund the 3rd night as we were not able to spend 1 more night. Her and the manager agreed to do that.
