"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa La Tartana! The staff, especially Alfonso and Maria, were wonderful and made us feel very welcome in Positano. Villa La Tartana is in an excellent location - a few minutes walk from the beach and up to the town centre. Highly recommend for those staying in Positano! "

"This hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. It is centrally located in the old town near the dining and shopping district and a 10 minute walk from the train station. The staff are warm and very helpful. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful! This a good location in Positano, you have access to both beaches by feet and access to alot of yummy restaurants. You can not escape stairs at Positano, but at least this location saves the steps based on its location. "

"This place is a gem! Perfect location and amazing staff. Very friendly and communicative. There are 2 reasons I am not giving this location a full 5 star review. One is that there was a lack of hot water. The shower and sink lost pressure when turned to hot and it took a very long time to heat up. I am sure in the summer this is not an issue but it was in the winter. Something else to be aware of, the Main Street is very loud at night. We could hear full conversations from people on the street....

"We had an incredible stay at this hotel and we cannot say enough about the owner and the staff. They were truly wonderful, so kind, thoughtful and friendly. Just fantastic people. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, and the balcony was so nice, overlooking the sea each morning and night in Positano is truly a privilege. We enjoyed the light breakfast brought to our room each morning and the croissants were some of the best we had in Italy. We rented a Vespa nearby and rode to Ravello and...

The rooms are in excellent condition and are stocked with all amenities needed. Adriana went above and beyond in arranging transportation to and from the hotel and was extremely proactive concerning our stay and comfort. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again in the future. "

"A unique type of "hotel". The room concept with a shared kitchen was great. You received biscuits and coffee but the equipment to have your own breakfast as well as space in a common fridge. Room was spacious with a view of the sea and private balconies. A great concept that suited our needs. Host was amazing."
