I booked 3 rooms of Fusimi for 1 night in August 2018. I received a confirmation email from hotels.com. These things heppened.
Property I booked thru hotels.com (property Fusimi):
1. sent emails to us, said it's overbooking
2. guided me to another property (B) which is not on hotels.com property list. Very differnt location and much lower quality from property Fusimi.
3. the property B was special, they didn't even had a check-in process, just open the rooms for us to stay
4. then we were charged higher than the agreed payment from hotels.com confirmation email, by property B
5. In the hot season with almost impossible to find another place to stay, we stayed in property B.
Hotels.com:
1. said they are not liable to properties' behavior
2. I shoud negotiate with the property, they are ready to do it
3. there will be no refund of whatsoever
So I paid higher for a downgraded property B, which I didn't reserve. Hotels.com can't resolve the problem.
Be aware of booking Fusimi and hotels.com
