"We arrived at Jakob after visiting the castles and was greeted by Magnus whose family owns this inn. It is quaint and well kept and it shows. The room was a nice size and comfortable. It was simple and clean and we enjoyed our stay. There is no elevator so you must be able to climb stairs to the rooms. Magnus was kind and carried my suitcase to our room. "Hard to find but once there, location is wonderful for the mountain views, good for walking into town. Lots of local commercial amenities. One person elevator only! Underused facilities? (Whole spa set up in lower level not in use?) Good hotel a little off the beaten track for traveling couple but not really handicap accessible."

"check in and check out was super easy. the staff was so accommodating and super nice. location was walkable to old town. the hotel itself was extremely quiet and super comfortable. the room we stayed in was massive for European standards. absolutely loved every bit of it. we did not do breakfast the couple days we were there, but it smelled fantastic! Will absolutely stay here again!!"

"Truly loved everything about this place. Our room was huge and incredibly clean. The beds were comfy enough and we could adjust the temperature in our room to our liking. Breakfast was included and was decent. Overall the hotel was very quiet and there’s an underground garage to park. It’s close to the castles and good restaurants. Just a note, the garage is VERY narrow. Like insanely, narrow."
