"What a fabulous hotel. The location is a bit out of the way, but that suits us. Staff are fabulous, really welcoming and friendly. The lobby is super impressive and has a great breakfast/dining room lovely. This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Would recommend to friends."

"This was our second day at the Occidental, unfortunately that air-conditioning was not working for our day which we were not made aware of on check in. Our room was ready early when we arrived and we were allocated to the ninth floor with a balcony and partial sea view which was very nice. Unfortunately without Aircon, it was just too hot at night even with the patio doors open so we did struggle to sleep. I do have an outside food bar and drinks bar. "We always stay here when in town. It is very reasonably priced and has a very nice roof top pool and bar. Rooms are basic but we OK with that. Central location, car park 200mtrs away 16 euro per day."

"I like everything about the hotel. I was very lucky to find a parking spot in front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Large hotel but in March it didn’t seem crowded. Will go back."
