"Stayed for one week towards end of March. A great welcome when we arrived at nearly 10pm. Cold buffet served to us in our room shortly after we checked in as we had missed out on our evening meal. Room and bathroom, clean and tidy. Excellent selection of food and nicely presented. Majority of staff polite, friendly and respectful. Yes I would stay again. "

"This was our second day at the Occidental, unfortunately that air-conditioning was not working for our day which we were not made aware of on check in. Our room was ready early when we arrived and we were allocated to the ninth floor with a balcony and partial sea view which was very nice. Unfortunately without Aircon, it was just too hot at night even with the patio doors open so we did struggle to sleep. I do have an outside food bar and drinks bar. "I had an excellent stay at this hotel, which offers fantastic value for money. Everything is new and well-maintained. The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless, with a superb shower. They thoughtfully provided complimentary snacks and drinks in the room, which was a lovely touch. "Recently refurbished, very comfortable room. Pedro the manager was excellent and very helpful. Pool area better than in the photos, much bigger than expected. Table tennis table a nice touch and whirlpool in the corner of the pool. Three washing machines (and tablets) available to use at any time. Ample basement parking. Close to grocery store and beach and main strip, would recommend. "
