"It was clean and pleasant. The room had a kettle and hairdryer. Toiletries in the bathroom. We didn't have any problems from the alleged ghosts. I can't comment on the area as it was dark when we arrived and foggy when we left! It seemed to be in quiet countryside."

"We appreciated the historical feel of the Inn. There could be attention paid to cob webs and spider on the ceiling in the bathroom and perhaps some areas may need a paint touch up. Otherwise we enjoyed the accommodation."

"Genuine old Pub/restuarant , able to select 2 items from starter menu plus salad and baked potatoe . All very good .Same for breakfast had a small portion and did not eat to much. Good flexibility. "

"Absolutely amazing stay at the Bell. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and professionalism. The room was cosy, but completely adequate overlooking the green. I have to extend a massive thank you to the kitchen staff who cooked us the amazing meal.( my steak was cooked just perfect!)"

"A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "

"This is a great example of a country style inn. It's warm and very inviting. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. There is no lift (elevator) so that may pose a problem for some people. The rooms are old but well maintained and very comfortable. There is a nice on-site bar and restaurant with a huge, centrally located fireplace that can be enjoyed from everywhere on the main floor. Tetbury is a Cotswolds style village with some good eateries and pubs. We reaĺly enjoyed our stay."

"I just needed a room for the night due to work in the area the following day. For the price, I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The room (small apartment with shared toilet) had everything you need (fridge microwave, shower) and probably,d again surprisingly, a very comfy memory foam mattress. All was clean and directly opposite shops and a very good Indian restaurant. Parking, although road side, was ample. Would stay again."
