And most of the place we visited were only 30 mins drive away. "Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

"We had a really good stay and found the accommodation extremely good with the single exception of parking - this is complicated and not free (unless you want a 20 minute walk to your car) but, given how central it is, close to the square, shops and restaurants, this wasn't a problem. There are lots of great walks and a trip on the railway is a must! The owners have prepared a very detailed and comprehensive set of guides, so everyone will find something they like. Highly recommended."

"We have just enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay. The property is brilliantly located in the middle of town with restaurants, shops and bakery all within a couple of minutes. A great base for exploring the local area. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. There is paid parking near the property. Our elderly uncle did find the stairs very steep so the house is not very suitable with those with limited mobility."
