"Absolutely beautiful property, excellently maintained. We had the Loge du Gardien which was everything we could have hoped for. Photos on Expedia actually don’t give it justice, the house is superb. Our teenagers loved the private hot tub with built in Bluetooth speakers. I would absolutely stay here again. "

"We spent six nights in the East Wing of the Chateau. The photos were accurate, but the house feels a bit worn. The town of Grandcourt has only a bar - no bakery or restaurant, and the closest grocery is about 5 KM away, so we had to drive for everything. I had hoped it would be a good base for WWI touring (and had even specifically inquired about that) but all the real WWI sites were at least a 1-2 hour drive away. "Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."
