"I couldn’t fault the staff - absolutely second to none, helpful, friendly and welcoming. The dining - WOW, 5 stars. From supper to breakfast simply delicious and would certainly go there for a celebratory meal - it was that good. I think once the rooms are upgraded to match the quality and refurb of the dining, reception and bar areas The Orange Grove would be top of my list in the area for a wonderful relaxing stay. We will be back!"

"It was terrible!!! Can’t contact anyone to get the key!!!They are not organized !!! Even finally have someone answer the phone and give me the lock box number and that was no key inside!!! We waited two hours have no one call us back !!! At the end we go to another Inn to stay!!! We need our MONEY BACK "

"This lovely quaint Guest House was ideal for us on New Year's Eve as we were invited to a Masquerade Ball held at The Queens Hotel which was only a 6 minute walk away from the Guest House. We were initially thinking of going by taxi but trying to get a taxi on New Year's Eve is a nightmare and there's no guarantee anyway that they would actually turn up. "Daughter came in from out of country for school, had to spend a night here before being able to go to campus. When she arrived they had a room already ready for her and accommodated her late check-out the next day. Great service, very attentive, would definitely recommend!! "

"Bit of a pain having to check into a different hotel before going to the one I actually booked. But for the price it was fine, clean and tidy. Very noisy though with traffic outside and people walking about on creaking floorboards and every door slamming. "

"Little Robins Gate is amazing for a peaceful getaway. We had the spa room and the jacuzzi was great. The room was spotless and had some nice personal touches. Will definitely be staying again in the future."

"David and his staff were excellent hosts. We were greeted by the owner upon arrival and were given an upgrade to a larger room. Very clean and well stocked room with all one would expect from the corporates. Breakfast was equally excellent with nothing being too much, absolutely recommended."

"We enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to town and local shops/restaurants. Enjoyed being able to have facilities to make our own breakfast, although there is a restaurant downstairs. The shower was brilliant, water pressure was really good and the soaps provided were lovely. If we would niggle at anything it was the kettle took ages to boil, the loft bed light didn't work and the wall had some staining on it. But other than that a great night's sleep!"

"This property is not 'posh' but it is absolutely perfect for a large family or group gathering. There is masses of space for cooking, eating and socialising and sitting outdoors. The setting of the cottage is second to none - surrounded by the fabulous New Forest and the giant redwoods of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive.
