"We liked our stay at La Pagerie a lot. It’s an easy walk from the ferry, and in a busy lively area. The staff spoke good English, and check in was easy. "Quiet, a bit dated. The beach was closed off from the hotel because it was "broken", so we were told. But you could get to it by walking through the town a ways. There was a great pâtisserie across the street, and a small grocery store was next door, both very convenient. "My stay was perfect! If you want a quiet place to relax with water view, this is your place. It is very clean and convenient to a few restaurants and a lovely French cafe that doubled as a convenient store all in just a 3 minute walk. The property manager Claude was extremely helpful, hard worker, great communicator from the start before i even arrived and eager to make my stay easy. "Staff needs training. It does not take 2-3 staff people to wait on one guest. This makes it difficult for other guests to get help. Certainly the staff was friendly, but organizing how this works would be an improvement. In our “Junior Suite” the toilet switch kept getting stuck and the “refresh” should have replaced old halogen lights with soft LEDs because the halogens cause heat.
