"I really wish it was a better experience. The rooms were not up to par. We had to switch rooms 2 times because of issues. First room the shower didn’t work. Second room the ac was broken. Third room didn’t even lock properly or have a working bathtub but we decided twice was enough and we would just take our chances. The front desk totally screwed up my reservation and charged me twice. I still have not been refunded but hopefully will in the near future. Otherwise Harold’s wonderful smile kept...

"We own a property close by but had the entire family visiting. Need the extra bedrooms. For that purpose it was fine. We really only slept and had coffee in the morning other than that we were at our own property. Fridge is a bit rusted but was clean. Communication was good so complaints. "

"Wow! What an amazing place. We had a party of 6 and came to fish for the week. It was nice to be able to pull the boat right to the dock and have a workstation there to clean and rinse the day's catch. It was a great location to hit the ocean through the short canal. We didn't have to go far to dive for lobster, conch, and fish for various species. The house is spacious and gives everyone their own little space if needed and makes cooking/grilling nice to have everyone move about and not on top...

"The staff and the pool area (most unique cave bar with fantastic drinks, and Alfi was awesome!) and lazy river and water slide (even fun for adults:) and the beach with natural palm umbrellas for shade, ALL AMAZING!! One of the best resorts I have been at for a reasonable price. The rooms were perfectly fine for me tho some may want to see some minor cosmetic updates. But I LOVED IT HERE! "

"Most of Grand Lucayan is closed from hurricane Mathew but you don't know this until you arrive. All guests have to stay at Lighthouse point which is nice but with not nearly as many amenities. 2 less pools , less convenient dining options, the Casino never reopened. Some of the staff, outdoor bar. Towel hut, seemed to have lost that happy, helpful, attitude, one bartender was even rude everyday. "We have a great time, altho a short visit and will definitely return at a later date. The only things I would suggest is, the toilets are very low, great for a kid or short person, but for older people, perhaps with knee issues, getting onto the toilet was a task. I would suggest a riser be offered for older folks. Also the menu in the restaurant could be a bit more varied, not the same foods every day. Otherwise, well done."
