"Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. Highly recommend."

"We were a group of three adults and six children that stayed in the house for four nights. We loved this great place that is tucked away in the greenery and has stunning views. Mauro, the owner is very friendly and helpfull. There is a pizza oven outdoors and a huge table so many can eat together. "The old mill is beautifully renovated with all the amenities needed for a very relaxing stay. The pool was always clean and when we had small problems with the lights the host came right away and took care of it. It's right next to a creek which is perfect for a quick bath in the morning. "Just amazing property Lucca was lovely. The road leading to the house was no joke its really off-road. I had a rubbish car and it made it but you need to have some vague confidence. Pizza night organised was really enjoyable had a smashing time. Id say the house is definitely child safe but for a really active 1 year old we found ourselves constantly having to monitor him every second he was awake. "We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."
