"Attended 2024 Cooperstown Baseball tournament at the ALLSTAR VILLAGE fields. We were happy to get away from the fields as we wanted both to be 30 mins away from fields but also peace and beauty. "My husband and I enjoyed the rest and relaxation in this cozy cottage in a picturesque setting. Location is about 20-30 minute (beautiful!) drive from several cute Catskill towns and Oneonta, where our son was playing baseball. We truly unplugged in this cozy home. "24 hours prior to check in (4 pm), I messaged the host to ask how we check in. No response. We had no trouble locating the property, but once there, we could not get in. The door was locked. There was no key. There was a lock box, but no code was provided. There is no cell reception at the property. We left to message the host for more info. Eventually, the host responded by sending us the address. but no acknowledgement about how to enter the cabin. We returned to the property again around 9 pm...
