"Here's the gist - booked this property three months prior to travel. Everything was confirmed, card was charged. Driving to Lyon late on the night of arrival and messaged the host about on-site parking. She messaged back that the apartment was not available. So we arrive in Lyon at 10:30 pm with 7 people and no place to stay and zero advance communication from the host. The only reason I heard anything was because I messaged her with a question. "My friend and I stayed for nights as a launching place for our visits around Lyon and Beaujolais. The apartment has an eclectic charm. We loved the furnishings and antiques in our house and the gardens. Xavier couldn’t have been more accommodating or nicer. The only downside was the traffic on the Main Street in front can get a bit noisy while sleeping. Overall it was a wonderful experience."

Stephanie was the perfect host and although there was no air conditioning the fans provided kept the apartment cool. Our party of six had a relaxing holiday with central Lyon only a short drive away."
