"If you are looking for peace, for beauty, for adventure, for an extraordinary kind and knowledgable staff you will find all of that and more at Rio Perdido. This place offers so much to people of all ability levels. Every staff member we met from managers to adventure guides to gardening staff, waiters, and housekeeping all seemed to do their jobs with a happy heart and never failed to greet us even just in passing warmly. We hope to one day return to this little slice of heaven. "

"The hotel staff was great, the room was clean, the TV didn't work, they only have cold water for the showers, it was a little pricey for what you get. I had been to the hot springs before the hurricane hit and there were a lot more pools. The two that they did have were hot and enjoyable although were in need of being repainted and cleaned.
