"This place is great value for families. It was just myself, my partner & our little 1yr old (22months) but we did have my aunty visit for lunch and dinner. We stayed two nights, arrived to a pre-warmed house and great set-up. There are maps of Invercargill, Bluff and the Catlins. It was close to family located 2-5mins either side of this new build. Tv with sky movies/sports. Free wifi, full kitchen & bathroom including bath (great for little children) and even a washing machine! Porta-cot...

"We all loved this farm property. The house was big and very comfortable. The beds were amazing, very comfortable, slept so well. It was idyllic, quiet and we all enjoyed our time there. Loved seeing all calves in the paddock across the driveway. I would recommend this property if you want a country stay, it was fantastic."

"We stayed 3 nights. The view is the star of this accommodation. The house is clean and welcoming, zoned, with lux inclusions like the big tv, spa pool, deep bath, double rain head shower, open plan living/ kitchen and large garden set in rural location away from it all - Retreat. However, it is equally a great base to explore nature in the Catlins. High recommended."

"Surprised at the comfort and huge space. Compared to most other budget accommodation hotels, this was rare find. Quiet, comfortable and well equipped. The building is of an older character, but that is not a negative. ."

Clean and comfortable

"The bed was very comfortable, and there were lots of pillows. The kitchenette had a lot of counter space, and everything worked. The unit was large, very clean, and very quiet. Location was very close to eveything we needed."

"This is a beautiful little boutique hotel with plenty of charm. Location is right at Sterling Point. No restaurant attached to the hotel but a 20 min trip into Invercargill gives you plenty of options to eat. Check-in was seem less, room was very comfortable with a lovely selection of tea’s. "
