"My wife and I stayed here while on a three day tour and was a 10 minute walk from the coach drop off point in town. The owners messaged us access details the morning of the day we were to check in. Rooms are locked by a secure code and so is the front door. The room was very neat and cozy, and spotless. The area is quiet and there is minimal vehicle traffic in the morning and at night. One thing to mention to the owners is that two of our blinds wouldn’t stay down and kept rolling up, so the...

"Alban & Abbey House was perfect for our one night stay. Check in was simple at their other guest house just at the end of the street and across the road. It is within walking distance of the town centre with plenty of parking at the property. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. Had everything we needed 🙂"

"Cant say enough about this property. What an incredable surprise when we arrived and walked around the property and down to the ocean. The roaring fire in the loung area made for an enjoyable evening talking and sharing stories with fellow traverlers. The staff made us feel at home the minute we walked through the door. It felt like we staying a a good friends home."

"Perfect location for Inverness! Off the main square enough to be quiet, but close enough to walk daily to shops, restaurants and eateries. The home made breakfast each morning is wonderful. The room set ups are great as well."

"The Silverstrands Guest House provided us with our best stay while in Scotland. The hosts were very helpful and seemed to predict every one of our needs. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. They have several fresh cooked options and/or you can help yourself to a lovely variety of breakfast items including Greek yogurt, croissants, fresh fruits, toasts and cereal. "Got the personal tour from Gail. Had the delux double which was very spacious and well equipped. Anything you need was available ether already there or just ask and all staff cheery n helpful. Great value for money and lovely fresh butcher supplied cooked breakfast. Sadly was a flying visit, but highly recommend for a single night or longer stay."

"The staff is very friendly. The carpet in the room is very dirty. There isn’t A/C in the room. The bathroom has a corner shower, which is very small. The showerhead is low pressure and it doesn't release Enough amount of water. There is a aroma of curry everywhere."

Nice hotel with excellent service from the staff

"All of the staff were extremely friendly. I am coeliac and I really appreciate the gluten free station for breakfast. There was something to suit everyone for breakfast from fresh fruit to traditional full Scottish/ continental. We also had our evening meal in the hotel and the waiting staff obviously took my dietary requirement seriously and checked with the chef if my choice of meal was safe for me to eat. This is our second stay at the hotel and will return again. The bed was very comfortable. We were on the third floor so there was no noise from the street. Didn’t book a river view as only there for one night. The room was clean with a modern shower/ toilet but would benefit from a bit of an upgrade as the carpet was a bit tired looking. This did not detract from our stay and we will certainly return. "
