"Nice cabin with good layout and excellent location, close to everything in Luray. The mattresses and pillows were comfy, and the chairs in the basement were a nice touch. My one complaint is the kitchen: there weren’t many items to cook or bake with, and the ones there were older, scratched and rusty. The river was also fairly hard to access—we didn’t end up using the kayaks we brought because we didn’t think we could get them down and back. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!"

"The property itself is PERFECT for a couples getaway or a solo vacation. I truly enjoyed the time to relax & reset. My only issue when booking with VRBO you don't realize some of the "normal" things you find in rental properties were not there until you get there. I've booked with rental properties and there has always been seasonings left in the kitchen (at least salt & pepper). The only other issues is the cleaning requirements....sweeping & mopping the floor definitely was a bit much since...

If we were to offer some feedback, the outdoor grill and chairs by the firepits were pretty dusty and had cobwebs all over them (I realized cobwebs can form overnight) Also, past sunset, whenever we tried to go in and out of the property, all sorts of moths/bugs would be attracted to the light inside and fly inside the door (we tried to open/close as quickly as possible). "We loved our stay at the Cliffside Cabin. Property was well-maintained, cabin was pretty clean, and awesome that there was river access a short distance from the cabin. The river access area is definitely swimmable too, which was a huge benefit especially given the hot temps we had. The porch overlooking the River was definitely the best part of our stay.
