"It is close to the highway so you can definitely hear highway noise (though it is Marfa and not Houston) and there is also a railroad not too far away so a train came through 6am. It IS camping and there were dogs around that were barking so you could hear them. The facilities were great though! We stayed in teepees that were awesome! "

The bed was extremely comfortable, the AC worked great, and the place was quiet. The house is laid out a little odd but I'm sure that's the product of decades of updating. Plenty of space for a large family. Really nice kitchen and areas to sit. I'm sure the stargazing is amazing but we unfortunately went when there was a bright full moon. Lots of helpful information provided. It wasn't really clear about where we could go on the property.
