"This is a great place. We had one hiccup, which was minor, a smoke detector battery started chirping...which was taken care of within 30 minutes or less of us asking what WE could do. "The Hillman House was amazing place for our multigenerational family reunion. Lots of space to connect, and room for everyone to eat together at the extended size kitchen table. Large number of private bedrooms to accommodate all is very unusual to find and beds were very comfortable with quality linens. Had lots of fun in the indoor gym playing pickleball and other games. The paddleboards were great for on the lake and there was a nice sandy beach area for the little kiddos to play. Can't...

"The house and property grounds were amazing! Loved that we had our own bathrooms with the 2 bedrooms on each end of the house along with each having it's own walkout patio doors. The house was so spacious for our group and had everything we needed for cooking. Having 2 docks was great also for fishing and just watching the ducks/eagles/beavers and the beautiful scenery.. "It worked out for us as we were able to have a small family reunion and we were able to meet our 2 great, great granddaughters ages 2 and 2 months. the ponds are not usable as far as wading for our 2 mimi schnauzers but they loved smelliing all the wild animal smells from deer and squirrels and chipmunks! plenty of room and patio was nice. Since we are older, the bathroom showers could have been a little bigger and safer but we managed. the step into the house via the kitchen is dangerous. even...

"Good communication, not the fault of the property that the power went out twice (no generator) or that there were tornado warnings to get into a basement. We did but had company, a dead mouse. All in all, a less than perfect experience. We left 2 days early."
