"Firstly, we absolutely loved our stay! My husband and I came for an extended weekend to celebrate my birthday and loved the quiet, relaxing, tranquil setting. We spent several hours on the back porch reading and watching the waves crash against the rocks. The neighborhood was quiet and secluded and the host was friendly and communicative and responded quickly. That being said, there were several items we noticed throughout our stay that needed a little TLC and ultimately it’s why I dropped one...

"The property was beautiful. Flowers all around the property were blooming. Hot tub was clean and warm. TV access worked great and it just happened to be the same channels we use at home. There was a generous goodie basket for us with coffee, wine and other goodies. The furniture and bedding were warm and cozy. We had a great visit. Thank you Linda for being a great host."

"perfect for us. rustic. comfortable beds. could use some water system TLC (sulfur is harmless but strong in all tap water for bathing). couldn't get the wifi to work, but it's Mendocino County, and we are mostly intentionally disconnected and/or outside all day. the outside space here at the property is great, even if you go nowhere and just decide to steep in the gorgeous views. we'll be back!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. The views were spectacular and it was about a 15 minute drive to town. The thermostat to the fireplace was not functioning and the beds and pillows were pretty uncomfortable, and likely just need to be replaced."

"The property is beautiful! Im sad it rained all weekend and l couldn't use the fire pit. The attention to detail was spot on! The owners take great pride in the quaint cottage. It really is impressive and I've been staying at rental houses for almost 20yrs on the northern coast. Id like to say we'll be back but we are moving east, this qas goodbye to our place in our hearts! "

"Our 2nd stay @ Sandy Clove Cottage. We had a wonderful time, despite a cold start. We had no heat when we arrived. With that, we had the privilege of meeting our host Bob. He came to our rescue & got the heat going for us. Such a very nice man. Thank you Bob. Even with all that, we very much enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to return. Beautiful cottage. Walk to the beach everyday. Listen to the ocean. Sit on the porch & watch people & wildlife pass by. So very enjoyable.Tim & Leilani"
